Better late than never...

My friend Ed at work got a couple of presents in the mail from Uncle Sam and brought them in to show me.  They were around 40 years late getting to him but he was awarded a Bronze Star with "V" and a Purple Heart for actions against the enemy in Vietnam.  Hell, they didn't just give him the purple heart, but the purple shirt as well!

As you may or may not notice above his desk, he already has 2 BSM's above his desk, one was a tour award and the other was for a specific event, aside from the one he just got his 3rd award for.  Also you will see the "Screaming Eagle" patch of his unit, the 101st Airborne Division.

Congrats Ed!
