Nucking Futs!

Another black eye for our side, per se....

The three D-bags accused of the crime....
An investigation by Franklin County Sheriff (Columbus, Ohio) investigators discovered that over 600 CCW licenses  may have been obtained fraudulently by people who obtained substandard training but yet received certificates sold by a NRA instructor.

Story here...(courtesy of our local anti-gun paper, The Columbus Dispatch)..

Basic rundown was that 62 year old NRA Instructor John Marshall was selling certificates signed by him to two individuals that were either conducting sub-par training or outright just selling the certificates to people...like the undercover agent that busted them. What a bunch of crap.  I will say up front that I received my licenses after submitting my DD form 214 to show that I received training in the military and after carefully reading the booklet available from the Ohio AG.  However, if I had not been able to do this I would of gladly sat in for the 12 hours of training required by law to obtain a license.  There is another argument all together for the right to carry concealed or otherwise be intrinsically part of the 2nd Amendment already and therefore not needing of a license...but this is the law as it stands and those that do not abide by it make the entire pro 2A cause look bad regardless of the legitimacy of the law.  Thanks jerk offs....load another round in the magazine of the folks that want to take that right away from us.  Say hi you your new friends in prison...

Of course all of us that LEGALLY carry condemn this activity as should everyone else.  Wrong is wrong in whatever form it takes, but I hope this is not another rally cry for the anti's to say that this right needs to be revoked.  I mean, the state issues thousands of drivers licenses to illegals every year and yet we don't talk about taking away drivers licenses from everybody, do we?

The television news story I watched last night said that, if you received a cert from: Adam Chaykin, 41, of 2270 Medford Place; Ken Fouch, 48, of 2410 Redrock Blvd.; and John M. Marshall, 62, of 4988 Attica Dr. (the three D-bags), and applied for your license in another County, you should contact the Sheriff in that County, in order to avoid prosecution. They implied that the 600 may not be all of the certs they issued.
