That's an Bell AH-1Cobra there folks...a tandem seat attack helicopter that was the predecessor to the AH-64 Apache series that we saw so much use of in both Gulf Wars. I think the Marines even to this day have these in service as attack choppers. These "snakes" were deadly and could take a beating...apparently getting run into the ground at 80 knots is outside of its performance envelope. Glad the pilots were OK. Luckily everyone on the ground was safe as well, those propellers being beaten into the ground like that could have caused a mess of flying shrapnel for folks that close.
Also notice at 0:23 one of the guys helping the pilot has what appears to be a 1911 or other large framed pistol on his belt...hey, its Arizona!
