"I ask sir, what is the militia? It is the whole people except for a few politicians."

More random violence in a "weapons free" zone...

This just happened a couple of hours ago a few blocks from me....

4 Stabbed In Downtown Building; Alleged Suspect Shot By Police

The building that this happened in is one I used to work in.  It is indeed a "weapons free" zone, as are the vast majority of buildings in Columbus.  We have a mayor that likes to think that a sign on a door is the way to keep people safe. Many of these signs appeared after the expanded CCW bill went into affect this fall allowing citizens that were trained and licensed to carry firearms into restaurants and bars that serve alcohol.  Many appeared in businesses that didn't serve but wanted to "send a message" once they found out all they needed to do was post a sign.

Here is another example people, signs don't work against criminals or those intent on doing harm.   And this guy didn't even use a gun but knives.

My prayers to the victims.

Prisons are proof that you can't make any place "safe" through even the most draconian measures to deprive people of weapons.
