My old friend/nemesis the M60 in rare form...

"rare" as in colored the same shade of red as a rare steak by the end of this clip! 1,500 rounds, wow!

Glad to see someone has money to burn for ammo and a new barrel. The only time you fire like that is an extreme combat situation. Like being overrun.

agreed, we used to call it a FPF (final protective fire) that you would execute in the defense. The signal was 2 red star clusters or something like that. Basically it meant that you were being over run and you would traverse your gun to a specific area and fire all remaining rounds in that direction to create interlocking fields of fire and hopefully break the enemy assault. Of course after it was done your ass was hanging in the wind, but it is what it is.

I believe the vid is from a company that specializes in auto weapons and was doing this as the barrel was at the end of its service life,
