Another day at the range...

Pic from a couple of weeks back. Chris from work and I having some fun with .22 LR at the range. We decided just primarily to shoot the .22 from now on. You really cannot underestimate how much fun firing this "weak" round is. The .22 is probably THE most versatile round ever made. Great for plinking or putting food on the table, the round - while not originated in the US - has long been a favorite of American sportsman. As an added bonus, where 20 rounds of other rifle ammo will run you around $20, a brick (500 rounds) of .22 will be about the same price in most cases.

Overall a pretty good day out there, though there were some issues with a couple of other shooters but no biggies.
Chris takes aim with his Savage .22 while my Ruger 10/22 (that will shortly become my liberty training rifle) sits in the foreground. Ruger has made and sold over 6 MILLION of these rifles over the past 40+ years!
